The Danger Kitchen Manhattan
> Canadian whiskey like Crown Royal or Canadian Mist
> Sweet Vermouth
> Angastura Bitters
> Marashino cherries
> Fresh orange slice
> Ice Cubes
> Designated driver
> Start with a 12 to 16 oz glass (Let's put the danger back in Danger Kitchen).
> Fill 3/4 full with ice cubes.
> Shake in 20 dashes of Angostura bitters.
> Put in 3 cherries.
> Pour in 1 tablespoon or so of cherry juice.
> Squeeze in a large orange slice. Mineola oranges are best.
> Drop in the squeezed orange slice.
> Pour in Canadian whiskey to within 3/4 inches of the top.
> Pour in sweet vermouth to within 1/4 inch of the top.
> Stir with a finger, or the knife used to cut the orange (very important).
The first one starts you off in Harlem (Manhattan... Get it?).
The second one takes you to Central Park.
The third one send you to the Village.
The fourth one sends you all the way down town... Battery Park baby!!!
